Sunday night I found my 15 years old cat Petteri lying on livingroom floor, unconcious, shaken by convulsions. He was having prolonged epileptic seizure. I hurried him to vet but there was little to be done. He was given sedatives and after about an hour we were back home. During the morning hours it became quite clear to me that Petteri was not going to make it. By the monday morning the sedatives wore off but he could not walk, only crawl. I took him to vet again yesterday afternoon and the ultrasound showed a tumour in his liver. It was probably the cause of the seizure. After that the vet told me that there was practically nothing to be done for such an old and weak cat. He could not survive the operation and the epileptic seizure was likely to have made some damage to his brain.

Petteri was put to sleep and I miss him so much. I have not cried so much even when my father died last may.

Here is little something before I go.
Next week I will be in hospital for a jaw surgery. (it's part of my orthodontics) I'm horrified, actually, and haven't been able to do anything creative lately. Guess during recovery I will have plenty of time to do some photo editing though.
